Tomi, 83, of Honolulu, passed away on February 2, 2018. Born in Honomu, Hawaii, she was a homemaker and a member of Jikoen Hongwanji and Urasoe Club. Preceded in death by husband, Hisao and daughter, Lori Ty, she is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Masaki-Tashima; grandchildren, Todd, Sara, Ethan, Pualani and Kuulei; brothers, Stanley and Royden (Rose) Nishihara; sisters, Grace Isa, Miyoko Taira, Shigeko Hirano, and Ellen (Clifford) Mikasa; son- in-law, Eric Ty; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; funeral service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Jikoen Hongwanji Mission, 1731 North School Street, Honolulu, HI 96819.
