3/24/1924--3/8/2018 Born Gertrude Elizabeth Kalakouluna Charlock on March 22, 1924 in Kaimuki to Wm. H. and Gerdie (Zerbe) Charlock, Jr. Betty grew up, proud of her one quarter Hawaiian heritage, in Kaimuki, Waikiki, Manoa, and Kahala. Graduated Roosevelt High School in 1942. After graduation Betty went to work for Matson and the Bank of Hawaii. A true island girl, Betty enjoyed the beach often, loved the sunsets from Waikiki and Kawela Bay, and Hawaii's "soft" air. In 1948 Betty married Wm. H. (Bill) Fiddler III, raised 3 children together and started "Fiddlers", the business they worked side-by-side from the mid-50's until Bill's death in 2009. Betty loved life! She loved her family first and foremost. She loved parties and champagne, avocados and papayas, her friends, and her new "family" at Arcadia. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Charlock III, sister Ginger Bush, husband Bill Fiddler III, and son Bill Fiddler IV. She is survived by her daughter Linda Knutzen (Brian), son Alan Fiddler (Joslyn), daughter-in-law Denise Fiddler, 7 adored grandchildren and 11 gt. grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and several cousins. Celebration of Life will be held at Arcadia Retirement Residence on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Bradley KamBradley Kam passed away on February 26, 2018 surrounded by family. He was 59. Brad was a self-employed property manager. He was a graduate of St. Louis High School and Chaminade University. In his lifetime, he touched, impacted and inspired many people with his kindness, wit and charm. The goodness of his spirit made people comfortable being with him. He'd go the extra mile to make someone happy and in doing so, made himself happy. He will remain deeply loved in the hearts of his family and loved ones and will be forever missed. Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Anna Kam. He is survived by sisters Jackie (Eugene) Shigemoto and Mona Kam, brother Russell Kam, niece Kristy Shigemoto and nephews Travis (Hiromi) Suzawa, Matt Suzawa, Michael Shigemoto and Tylor (Marsha) Tabios. BRUNO KAM HOON LUM Bruno was born in Honolulu and peacefully passed away on February 20, at the age of 91. He graduated from St Louis High School and University of Michigan. He was a bank examiner for the State of Hawaii and treasurer and board of director of the See Dai Doo Society. He is remembered for being a devoted husband to his wife of 59 years and a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Judy, daughters (and son-in-laws), Debbie (Ted), Denise (Scott), and Melissa (Michael), and grandchildren, Keri and Derek, as well as his sister, Marietta. In accordance with his wishes, services will be private.

James James "Cam" Campbell Shuford, III, died March 3, 2018 of a heart attack biking with friends in Kailua, Hawaii. Born November 25, 1940 in Chicago, IL to James C. Shuford, Jr. and Frances (Weir), Cam is survived by his wife, Rita; daughter, Susan Taylor of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two grandchildren, a great- grandchild, and brothers John, of Raleigh, NC, and Bob, of Evanston, IL. He was predeceased by his parents and dear sister, Ellen Roberts. Cam was active throughout his life, training for triathlons and, when his knees gave out, fell in love with long-distance biking. Cam arrived at his 50th college reunion on his bike, having travelled 400 miles from Chicago, weary and triumphant. Since moving to Kailua in 1995, Cam worked as a youth guidance counselor in various Kailua schools most recently at Hakipu'u Charter School. Visitation on Monday, March 19th at 10:00am at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, Kaneohe with service to follow at 11:30am. Lei accepted. Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
