FRANCIS ARNOLD HOLMES, JR. Francis Arnold Holmes Jr., known to his family as "Frank" or "Red", left us on March 5, 2018 at the age of 83. Born on March 28, 1934 to parents Mary Alice (Reese) Holmes and Francis Arnold Holmes Sr., he was raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. Frank attended the University of Florida before serving in the U.S. Army. After his service he moved to Los Angeles where he met his wife Rosalina (Dodie) in Hollywood where they both worked as ballroom dance teachers. Married in 1962 they moved to the island of Oahu where Frank took on the role of an ultimate salesman, selling books and appliances and eventually real estate. Frank will forever be remembered by his loving wife of 56 years, Dodie and two daughters Carla Ann and Heather Julia (Ben). Frank will also be dearly remembered by his two grand- children Annabelle and Oliver, one brother Loring (Snag) and two cousins Kathy and Peggy. Frank is predeceased by his sister Barbara Ann. A Celebration of Life will be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park on Tuesday April 10, 2018. Visitation is at 9:30 am with services to begin at 10:30. Frank will be forever in our hearts.
