97, born February 22, 1920, passed away on January 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of Yui Chun and Kam Fung Lee, she graduated from McKinley High School and worked for the Federal Government. Edith was well known for her ability to laugh at herself, her incredible energy, her love for own and her sibling's children, and her frugality as well as her generosity. "Auntie Edith" to us all, we were loved, influenced and inspired by her. Her strength and encouragement made one forget one's troubles and gave one hope. She will be dearly missed. Survived by her daughter, Patricia Norris (Neil) Godfrey, her granddaughter Catherine (Todd) Atkins and her two Great grandchildren, Hailey (7) and Hunter (5) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their loved ones. Edith's Celebration of Life service will be held at Central Union Church on April 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Union Church, "In memory of Edith Chun Dalton."
