95, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grand- mother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018 with loved ones by her side. She devoted her life to her family's business (Club Hubba Hubba) and her lifelong love of sewing magnificent quilts she shared with her family. She was meticulous in everything she put her heart and mind into until the end. Hazel is survived by her twin daughters, Mickie Maessner Diamant (Dr. Michael) and Vickie Kim; grand- children, Michele Natale (Chris), Duke Kim (Cheryl), John Maessner (Christine), Kevin Dempsey (Merryl) and Aiko May (Dr. Brendon); 6 great-grandchildren; 6 hanai great-grandchildren; brother, Tad Matsuoka; sister, Lily Isobe and Caregiver/friend, Jim Dempsey.
