September 20, 1957 - May 13, 2018 Lori passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 13th. Born and raised in Honolulu, she graduated from Star of the Sea in 1975. Lori began her early work career in office administration spending time in the dental field as well as legislative offices. Lori continued her career in the retail industry for Birkenstock Footwear in Ward Center where she stayed for 28 years. She enjoyed working with the general public and meeting the needs of her clientele. Lori made many friends throughout the merchant community and enjoyed the friendships and comraderies created. She was a generous and giving person and looked for ways to give back to others who touched her life. Her special cards and notes that touched our hearts, her smile, and her laughter will stay with us all. Lori enjoyed movies, comedy, shopping, and especially enjoyed family get togethers. Her many nieces and nephews were the highlight of her life and spending time with them was a special joy. Lori was predeceased by her father, Axel Ornelles and brother, Eric Ornelles. Lori is survived by her mother, Gerry Ornelles; brother, Richard Ornelles (Danny Stumpf); sister, Linda Ornelles; sister-in-law Toni Ornelles; nieces, Brittany and Lia Genovia; nephews, Leif and Ryan Ornelles; one grandniece, Anale'a Akiona, and many cousins. ~ She will be greatly missed ~ Services will be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park Chapel on Wednesday June 6, 2018, 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, Hawaii Chapter or to your favorite charity.
