Leatrice Yoshiura YamaguchiIt is with great sadness that the family of Leatrice Yoshiura Yamaguchi announces her passing on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the age of 100. Lea passed peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Yamaguchi in 1995. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Diane, Beverly and Lisa, and grandchildren Sara and Neal Feldman and Marissa Bowden and great grandchild Zak. Lea spent her youth on Kauai where her parents worked for the Robinson family, then moved to Honolulu where she graduated from McKinley. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was an excellent cook, best known for her apple pie. Lea and husband Attorney Ralph Yamaguchi enjoyed entertaining clients and visitors at their home, but also explored the world, visiting friends and discovering foreign cuisines. She became a Life Master in bridge, enjoying the game until she was in her 90's. Always fashionable, she was elegant to the end and will be remembered as a thoughtful, loving and kind person who personified aloha. Private service held.
