Alies Mohan Samtani, age 76 of Honolulu, passed away on May 20, 2018. She was born in Papeete, Tahiti to Cambridge Jean and Denise Silloux on August 13, 1941. Spending time in her garden and with family and friends were Alies' passion and delight. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, she taught French at University High School. She and her husband were owners of Andy Mohan Inc. for over 50 years. She was active in the Rotary Club and served as the President of the Women's Ministry at First Chinese Church. She is survived by her brothers Franklin, Bergson and Janson Silloux; children Anand (Lisa) Samtani and Anila (Ei Jung) Yiu; and grandchildren Sue Yee and Sheung-Yee Yiu and Isabella and David Samtani. Services will be held on June 14th at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation 11:00 am, service 12:00 pm and burial 2:00 pm. Aloha attire and no flowers, please.
