Toshiyasu Kishimoto
Toshiyasu Kishimoto, 96, of Hilo died May 29 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Papaaloa, he was a retired carpenter and retired from the UH Auxiliary Service. For 25 years he was the patriarch of Two Ladies Kitchen. He demonstrated the importance of hard work and the support of your loved ones in their endeavors. He was a member of the Hilo Hooganji Mission, Hui Okinawa, Piihonua Kumiai and Carpenters Union Local 745. Friends may call between 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday (June 30, 2018) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; memorial service at 5:30. Casual attire. No flowers. Survived by wife, Sachiko Kishimoto of Hilo; daughters, Charlene (Glenn) Matsuda of Hilo, Nora (Norman) Uchida of Hilo, Joan (Glenn) Matsuoka of Honolulu; son, Ted (Yvonne) Kishimoto of Honolulu; brother, Hideyoshi "Bill" (Alice) Kishimoto of Honolulu; sisters- in-law, Yaeko "Sally" Kishimoto of Honolulu, Haruko "Sylvia" Kishimoto of Hilo, Margaret "Bonnie" Kishimoto of Connecticut, Myra Yonahara of Wailuku, Maui, Sadako "Sally" Kageyama of Honolulu, Tomi Tokeshi of Hilo; three grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
