Song Sun Johnston, 78, of Kapolei, Hawaii passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Yesan and Mae Hong. Song was born and raised in Seoul, Korea and later settled in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1970. She got her Barber License and Cosmetology license and has been a Barber for 40 years working on the Military Bases on Oahu. Song was married to Thomas Johnston who passed away in 2014. She is survived by her two brothers, Gene Hong and Song Buk Hong, her two sons Ricky and Robert Johnston, her nine grandchildren: Eddie, Shannon, Amber, Sky, Brittney, Blake, Matthew, John and Rebekah, and her four great-grandchildren: Kingston, Aryani, Kelia, and Steven. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 At The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the Kalaeloa chapel: 2074 Lauwiliwili Street, Kapolei, HI 96707. There will be an Open casket viewing from 9a.m. to 10a.m. and the services will start at 10:30a.m., and the burialat 1p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Veteran's Cemetary: 45-349 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744.
