85, of Honolulu, passed away on June 10, 2018, at home in Nuuanu, surrounded by family. He was born in Kawailoa. He is survived by daughters Iris Rementer (Tom) and Diane Leicht (Marty) and son, Scott (Dana); grandchildren Daniel Dierkes, Jodi Rementer (Kit Kolone), Erin Rementer, and Jade Leicht; and great-grand- children Aiden Naranjo-Rementer, Teani Kolone-Rementer, and Matai Kolone-Rementer. He was predeceased by wife, Janet Abe, and daughter, Noreen Dierkes. A celebration of life will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Sunday, July 15, at 11 a.m. No flowers. ETHELVINA R. BOLOSANPassed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2018, at the age of 78. She was born January 2, 1940 in Pu'unene, Maui to her parents William Pires & Rose Cabral. Survived by sons Steven (Felicita), Shad (Nelly), siblings Rose Nakoa, William Pires, Winifred Todd, Donald Pires, four grandchildren, & many nieces and nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband James Bolosan, her eldest son Darryl Ho, and daughter Raylene Asuncin. She also leaves behind her Soka Gakkai International 'ohana, which she had been a dedicated active pioneer member of since 1968. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite things in life were Betty Boob, crafts, & flower arranging. She also loved yellow roses and sunflowers. Memorial services will be held at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary, Mauka Chapel on July 16, 2018. Visitation 5pm. Service 6-7pm Reception to follow. Casual attire.
