Beloved Father and Grandfather, August Yee of Honolulu passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He lived 95 years of a healthy and adventurous life. He loved to travel and was truly interested in the wellbeing of people. He was the co-founder of Holiday Mart and was involved in many community service organizations where he left a strong impression on everyone he interacted with and met. He was an active participant in the Polynesian Voyaging Society, YMCA, Goodwill Industries and the Boys and Girls Club. He goes to join his wife, Phyllis Tam Yee. He is survived by brother Clarence Yee, daughters, Lori Owles (David) and Marcia Rebelo (Robert), grandchildren Ashley, Ian and Jade, and great- grandchildren, Kameron, Preston and Jaxson. A celebration of his life will be held at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Morutary on Friday, July 20, 2018. 2 to 3 pm Visitation 3 pm Celebration of Life with refreshments to follow. Please no flowers.
