Of Aiea, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018, at age 95. Her long and full life centered around her family and friends. Born in Honolulu, Rose attended McKinley High School and Mun Lun Chinese School. She married Tim Young and together they made their home in Aiea. Rose's fondest memories were of raising her four children. She later returned to work as a clerk at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. She was warm and friendly, and became friends with everyone she met. Rose enjoyed the love and company of her large extended family. She is survived by her children Wesley, Didi, Russell, and Colleen, and her two grandchildren, Chelsea and Nick. She will always be in our loving memory. Service: Thursday, July 12 at Borthwick Makai Chapel. Visitation at 10 am. Service at 11am.
