FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Carl Robert Anderson
Aged 90 of Kailua, Hawaii, died July 18, 2018 at home. Born in Sweden, April 9, 1928. Carl spent his childhood in Miles City, Montana enjoying tennis, cars, carpentry, hunting and fishing. He spent 7 years on the east coast after obtaining a degree in chemical engineering. He relocated to the west coast where he met Yvonne, his wife of nearly 60 years. Moving to Hawaii in 1968, Carl founded Island Instant Printing Centers and Ampaco. He had a passion for golf and could be seen regularly at Mid-Pac Country Club golfing well into his 89th year. On Sundays he was always found at worship. He left a legacy of hard work, faith in God and many meaningful personal and business relationships. Always showing up with a confident, outgoing attitude, bright smile and greetings for all, he positively impacted many lives. Survived by wife, Yvonne Anderson, daughters, Wendy Saito and Kristy Anderson, grandsons, Carl and Anthony Saito, their wives, Nina and Alyssa, granddaughter, Summer Anderson, and five great- grandchildren. Carl was known as everyone's favorite "Uncle Mickey" to his extended Montana family which includes four nieces, a nephew and all their offspring. Memorial services will be held on August 25, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 1004 Kailua Road, beginning at 11:30 am and followed by a celebration of life luncheon.
