Abraham "Abe or Abra" Laciste Vallente, Sr., 71 of Ewa Beach, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Queen's Medical Center - West. He was born on September 15, 1946 to father Eusebio Vallente and mother, Francisca Agonoy, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Abraham worked as a machinist for Dole Cannery for over 25 years and also was a maintenance worker for Mililani Golf Course. He is survived by his loving wife, Melita Vallente; son Abraham (Coral) Vallente, Jr.; daughters Marcy (Jerry) Luczon and Aimee Vallente; five grandchildren; sisters Virginia Macadangdang, Maura Viernes, Alissa (Marc) Sabate, Ann (Marc) Mendoza; Brothers Carlito (Perlita) Laciste, Ronald Vallente, Airwine (Cyndi) Vallente; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and wake service 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (Kaneohe). Additional services the following day: Visitation: 10:00 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa Church (712 North School St., Honolulu, HI 96817).
