FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Francis Kisei Nishioka
98, died peacefully at his home in Kailua on August 9, 2018. Francis was born in Wahiawa and later served his country proudly for 20 years in Army Intelligence. He received numerous awards and letters of commendation. After spending 15 years in Japan with the Army, he brought his family back to Hawaii. He kept busy by working at United Airlines cleaning offices and earned two awards for work excellence. Francis loved fishing, golfing, growing orchids, but most of all, his family and friends. He was "Grandpa" to everyone who knew him. He loved God and lived life fully. Survived by children Clyde (Bev), Sherron Iopa (John) and Lynnette Sakamoto; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Stanley (Miyo), Walter (Pat), and sister Betty Yamashita, and his constant companion, his dog Mika. We miss you immensely! Tottemo aishite imasu-ja mata! Celebration of Life at Hosoi Mortuary, Sunday, September 16; visitation at 9am, service at 10am. Casual attire, no flowers.
