Fumie 96, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2018, in Wahiawa General Hospital Long Term Care surrounded by family. She was born in Keahua, Maui on September 15, 1921. For over 40 years in 3 different locations, she owned and operated Frances Barbershop in Wahiawa. She will always be fondly remembered by her family and former customers, to whom she was "the barbershop lady." Predeceased by husband of 64 years, Hideo Tokairin and all 11 of her siblings. Survived by son, Alan (Stacey), daughters Fran Tokairin, Kay (Bary) Ewaliko and Susan Tokairin, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Wednesday, September 26 beginning at 9:00 a.m., services at 10:00 a.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary in Honolulu. Yasuko Matsudo VelligasOn July 26, Yasuko Matsudo Velligas, 92, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away. Yasuko was born in Lahaina, Maui. Yasuko enjoyed homemaking and crafts. Her gifts of embroidery and sewing made life more comfortable for her family. She faithfully attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church for over 50 years and retired from Leilehua High as a cafeteria worker. Yasuko is predeceased by brothers Gintoku, Seiyu, Seizen; sisters Natsuko, Akiko; son Anthony. Survived by husband Frank; sons Dalton (Nona), Robert, Frank (Tommie) and John (Ronalyn); daughter Pauline (Gary); 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Ginyei Matsudo, Jinchi (Charleen) Matsudo; sisters Misaye Nakamura, Evelyn S. Araki, Margaret Zaan.

He is survived by his wife, Maile, son Louis U'i (Lee), daughters Michele and Kehau Pa (Don); sister Millie K. Lee and hanai sister "Bobbi" Apuna Kahalewai; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
