FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Beatrice Puanani Thompson Naho`olewa
Beatrice Puanani Thompson Naho`olewaOur beloved mother, Beatrice Puanani Thompson Naho`olewa, age 82, was called to rest on September 7, 2018, at her home in Dededo, Guam, in the company of her children. She was battling several illnesses at the time of her passing, but know this to be true! Her new life takes her to a beautiful place where she will be reunited with husband Alexander Naho`olewa, daugther Sandra Quintanilla, mother Agnes Perreira, father David M. Thompson, stepfather Joseph Silva, brothers Melvin and David Thompson, Jr., and many family & friends not seen in quite some time. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her laughter, and her love. She was born on May 4, 1936 in Honolulu, Hawaii; the youngest of five children. Her life was not easy, but she met life's challenges with grit & determination. She was immovable, until you touched her heart. She was a beauty queen and a "tom-boy"; graceful, yet tough as nails. A woman of many talents, she made the most exquisite oriental floral arrangements, created beautiful custom dresses and accessories for hula performances, and found hours of joy in gardening. She is survived by her children: Alexander Naho`olewa, Jr., Donna & Robert Pack; Beatrice Naho`olewa & Richard Pangelinan, Daylinn & U`ilani Naho`olewa, Kandi & Merritt Whittenton, and Shannon Naho`olewa; her grandchildren: Ivy Cruz, Irene Palomo, Tina Anthem, Desiree Salvadore, Allen Naho`olewa, Jason Ogo, Daisy Guyton, Amber Fuamatu, Alika Fuamatu, Kasey Mendiola, Trisha Mendiola, Crystal Perez, Whitney Pangelinan, Malie Naho`olewa, Hiwalani Naho`olewa, Puanani Naho`olewa, Mark Torre, Jr., and Kayla Norman; and I don't know how many Great grandchildren! She is also survived by brothers Earl Thompson and Joseph Silva, Jr, and sister Mae Kaupiko. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Guam Veterans Cemetary in Santa Rita. E ola ka ha loa o ka `ohana Thompson a me ka `ohana Perreira. E ola ! Let the breath of the Thompson & Perreira families live on. We love you mom ~
