Helen K. Ching, of Kailua, HI, passed away while surrounded by her loved ones. Throughout her 88 years of life, Helen was a beloved member of her community, working as a nurse at Queen's Hospital and Honolulu Medical Center, actively participating in clubs, and volunteering at church. She made fast friends wherever she went. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took care of them, as she always had, until the very end. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband David and is survived by sons Michael and Curtis (Ruth), daughter Allison (Lake), five grandchildren (Emma, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Angela, and Andrew), and sister Evelyn Tsugie. Visitation (10:00 AM) and funeral service (11:00 AM) will be on Saturday, October 6, at St. Christopher's Church, Kailua. Casual attire. No gifts, please.
