Mrs. Betty Yung Kau Lum Chock was born in Honolulu, T.H. on March 2, 1929. she was the youngest child of Koon Yi Lum and Alice Pang. After graduating Maryknoll High School in 1947, she worked at various clinical positions at the Honolulu Police Department, Theo H. Davis Co., and the Bureau of Conveyances, before retiring from Workman's Compensation Section of the Department of Labor in 1994. She is survived by sons Brandon, Waylen (Sharon), Stayton (Christina) and daughter Sherilynn-Paula (Norman) and 5 grandchildren. Funeral will take place on Saturday, October 13 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Viewing will take place from 11 a.m. to noon with mass to follow. Burial at 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe.
