She is survived by her husband, Allyn; son, Austyn; daughter, Karyssa; father, Harold Ashitomi; sisters, Laurie Ashitomi and Lynne (David) Kasaoka; and brother Steven Ashitomi. 86, of Palolo passed away peacefully on Oct. 9, 2018 at Kaiser Moanalua hospital surrounded by his family. The funeral is at Diamond Head Mortuary on Nov. 6. Visitation begins at 9 am. Services start at 10 am with the burial to follow at 12:30 pm. Ping was born in Honolulu on Oct. 24, 1931 to George and Josephine (Wong) Lee and graduated from St. Louis High School. Shortly after, he married his forever LOVE Roxane (Tudy) Akiona. He is well known in his community as a longtime taxidermist in Kapahulu for over 50 years until retiring in 2007. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Jordene Lee-Hornstine and Marlene (Edmund) Hao; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and his sister, Annabelle Koa. Ping is preceded in death by the love of his life, Tudy; and son Jordan (Boy); along with his parents and 2 brothers.

Margaret Oda Nosse passed away at home on September 23, 2018. She was 101 years old. Margaret was born and raised on Oahu, and lived in Manoa for most of her life. Margaret loved her family, friends, her home, flowers, gardening, clothes, and sweets. She was kind and generous, made lasting connections and brought out the best in everyone. She is survived by her sons Glenn and David and her daughter Joan (Paul) Okubo. She had 5 grandchildren: Craig (Tory) Nosse, Lori (Alika) Parish, David (Jillian) Okubo, and Daniel and Sarah Okubo, and 2 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Tom and her much-loved 3 sisters and 3 brothers. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Diamond Head Mortuary.
