86, of Palolo passed away peacefully on Oct. 9, 2018 at Kaiser Moanalua hospital surrounded by his family. The funeral is at Diamond Head Mortuary on Nov. 6. Visitation begins at 9 am. Services start at 10 am with the burial to follow at 12:30 pm. Ping was born in Honolulu on Oct. 24, 1931 to George and Josephine (Wong) Lee and graduated from St. Louis High School. Shortly after, he married his forever LOVE Roxane (Tudy) Akiona. He is well known in his community as a longtime taxidermist in Kapahulu for over 50 years until retiring in 2007. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Jordene Lee-Hornstine and Marlene (Edmund) Hao; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and his sister, Annabelle Koa. Ping is preceded in death by the love of his life, Tudy; and son Jordan (Boy); along with his parents and 2 brothers.
