Artemia 'Temy' Valenciano Balais of Waipahu, passed away at the age of 75 on September 24, 2018 following a brief & sudden illness. She was born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines and was predeceased by parents Marcelino & Cecelia Valenciano and brother Nemesio Valenciano. Temy was a housewife and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie & friend to the many that knew her. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gervacio "Basiong" Balais, Sr.; sons, Gervacio "Bobby" (Eloise) Balais, Jr. & Glenn (Loi) Balais; daughter, Gayleen (Glenn Oshiro) Balais; grandchildren; Gabriel & Matthew Balais, Kylie Rie Oshiro-Balais & Quincy Balais; siblings (in the Philippines) Felomina Marcelino, Virginia Labio, Gregoria Castillo, Bonifacio Valenciano, Trinidad Fabe & Edna Evangelio. The entire Balais Ohana is extremely grateful for all the love & support from family and friends during this time and comforted to know that Temy was loved by many. Visitation: 5:00 p.m.; Wake Service: 6:30 p.m. on Sunday November 18, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park's Mauka Chapel. Mass Visitation: 8:30 a.m.; Mass: 9:30 a.m. on Monday November 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Church of Waipahu. Burial: 11:00 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
