Benjamin Franklin “Ben” Kneubuhl Jr., 98, of Waimea, Hawaii, and American Samoa, a former Kneubuhl Maritime Services manager and an American Factors auditor, died in Waimea. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is survived by daughters Karen Takei and Victoria Kneubuhl, son James, brother Douglas, sister Frances Opelle, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 9 a.m. Feb. 28 at Queen’s Surf Beach. Additional services to be held in March in American Samoa. Donations suggested to North Hawaii Hospice.
