Elena Violet Tinao, also known as "Aunty Bones" and "Nana," 64, of Waianae died in Waianae. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Douglas and Wendall; daughters Elsie K. Alapati, Dorothea Tinao, Laurie-Ann Rabellizsa, Terri-Lynn Oliva and Wendi Tinao; brothers Benjamin Ke-a, Marcus, Ricardo, George and Joseph Moises, and Joseph Bautista; sisters Josephine Ke-a, Isabella Kelepolo, Lucille Bonilla and Mary Bryant; and 10 grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Call after 8:30 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
