74John Pavao Jr., 55, of Wailua Houselots, Kauai, an Operating Engineers Local 3 heavy equipment operator, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Diane; son Kaipo; daughter Wailana Cantere; mother Barbara Jean Say; brothers Pierre, David and William Pavao and Paul and Byron Say; sisters Keala Bartolini and Jonelle Jardin; grandmother Elizabeth Martin; and three grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Garden Island Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Casual attire.
