MATSUE AMY Age 83, of Oswego, IL died peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. surrounded by her family. She was born July 18, 1926 in Honohina, Hawaii the daughter of the late Zenpo and Maushi (nee Jahana) Isa. Amy worked at Scotty's Restaurant in Oswego, Anchor Brush Co. in Montgomery, with Dwane and Rod in their candy distributing company and helped open Naper Nuts and Sweets in Naperville. Her greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed raising grandchildren and great grandchildren, caring for her beautiful flower gardens, making photo albums, collecting Beanie Babies and of course visiting Hawaii.
Amy is survived by her husband Dwane (whom she married in 1946), two daughters Judy (Doane) Simshaw of Polson, MT, Jenny (Andy) Rooker of Oswego, IL, son Rod (Jo) Moss of Oswego, IL; nine grandchildren Jeff (Sue) Chada, Todd Chada, Kelly Chada, Shaelyn and Ajalin Simshaw, Elena (David) Monti, Greg (Lindsey and great She was preceded in death by a sister Hideko (Clara) Chun of Hawaii and brother Yoshiteru Isa of Hawaii. A gathering of friends and family was held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME at 1801 South Douglas Road in Oswego, IL. Cremation was accorded the wish of the family.
