74John AhPing Kalakaua "Busta" Aiona Sr., 67, of Pahoa, Hawaii, an employee of Orchids of Hawaii, Golden Fruit Papaya, Kapoho Land and Development, Sanford's Service Center Inc. and Keaau Middle School and a veteran of Army and Hawaii Army National Guard, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Sophie I.; daughters Laverne Hess, Judy Aiona and Shawn Aiona-Hauanio; hanai sons John-Ben "JB" Hauanio, Jorden Aiona-Waipa, Dean Hess Jr., Haili Puerto, Kawika Haili, Kaumana Tokelau, Stanley "Sadao" Kajiyama, Daren Sakoda and Charles Jr. and Edward Aiona; hanai daughters Michele Tokelau, Melissa Hess, Jovy Hauanio, Jadelyn Aiona, Meleana Haili, Isabella Tokelau, Jubilee Aiona-Hauanio, Barbara Haili, Ella Manuel and Idalyn Isom; sister Sarah Togashi; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Call after 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory. Casual attire. No flowers.
