72Ralph M. Ohta, 77, of Santa Maria, Calif., a retired dental surgeon from Vandenberg Air Force Base and Norton Air Force Base and Air Force colonel, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lorna; daughters Rebecca and Janice Ohta and Julie Wagner; sister Vivian Ishizaki; and seven grandchildren. Services to be held on the mainland.
