Howard James De Rego Jr., 54, of Honokaa, Big Island, an auto mechanic, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honokaa. He is survived by wife Kathleen; son Harold; daughters Marie, Karilyn, Netanya and Luella De Rego, and Lori Rodrigues; mother Mabel; brothers Mario, Michael, Mark De Rego, and Dennis Vierra; sister Marlene Bugado; and 10 grandchildren.
