76Walter "Wally" Wharton, 68, of Mililani, a towing and car industry employee and Air Force veteran, died in Wahiawa. He was born in Morganfield, Ky. He is survived by sons Danny and Theodore; daughters Mary File and Darcie Wharton; brothers William, Samuel, James, Lawrence and Donald; sister Zelda McDowell; and 17 grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. today at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Call after 5 p.m. Committal service: 10 a.m. tomorrow at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
