72Daniel Pacheco Melendez, 82, of Honolulu, a retired Army supply sergeant and Army & Air Force Exchange Service employee, died in Community Living Center. He was born in Kaupakalua, Maui. He is survived by daughters Jeanette M. Melendez and Phyllis S. Cruz, sister Joan M. Pacheco and three grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m. Burial: 8:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers.
