Retired from Ewa and Waipahu Sugar Plantation; veteran of 442nd , 2nd Battalion, HD. Co. 1943-1945; active member of ILWU; and member of Ewa Hongwanji. He is survived by brothers, Tsutomu Sawamoto, Masaru Sawamoto of California, Stanley Kiyoshi Sawamoto of Florida; nephews, Michael Sawamoto, Wayne Hisamoto, Dwayne Yap; nieces, Sharon Sawamoto, Diane Lucas, Becky Denmark, Patty Hisamoto. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (June 30) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 6:00 p.m. |
