73Chiyo Akimoto, 101, of Koloa, Kauai, a seamstress, died in Hale Kupuna Heritage Home. She was born in Wahiawa. She is survived by sons Wallace, Paul and Alvin; daughters Alice Isoda, Bernice Kondo and Violet Onishi; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Thursday at Koloa Jodo Mission.
