78Yasushi Arakaki Sr., 83, of Waiakea Uka, Hawaii, died in Artesia, N.M. He was born in Waiakea Uka. He is survived by wife Vivian; sons Curtis K. and Anson "Bo" Cortez, and Cy "Tomo" and Yasushi Arakaki Jr.; daughters Raynae "Tess" Fonoimoana and Roxann "Omi" Mick; brother Koyei; sister Toyoko Berg; 20 grandchildren; an adopted grandchild; and 25 great-grandchildren. Services held.
