SHIZUKO ODO SASABUCHI
Lovingly known as Shi-chan, Shizu, or Suzie, of Kahaluu, went home to be with Jesus on July 4, 2010, after 84 years of loving service to her family & friends. Born in Honolulu, and retired in 1984 as secretary for St. Mary's Episcopal Church to care for her grandkids & mother. Shizu loved the Lord, and she encouraged & inspired many with God's love. The
joy in her smile and her caring & generous heart will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Alban Y.;daughter,Laurie R. (Leland) Lee;
grandsons, Justin & Kyle; brother, George S. Odo, nieces, nephews, grand & great-grandnieces & nephews, cousins, in-laws & godchildren.
She has joined her loving husband,
Yoshitsugu in heaven, along with her brothers, Calvin & Teruo.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday (July 17), at St Mary's Episcopal Church. Visitation from 9-10am, service at 10am. Casual attire. No flowers. |
