Nobuso "Navy" Takenishi, 87, of Honolulu, a retired Sheraton Waikiki Hotel upholsterer and maintenance worker, and an Army veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Moiliili. He is survived by wife May A., son Lawrence N., daughters Trudy A. Rees and Darlene S. Takenishi, brother Kiyoji, five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 4 p.m. Aloha attire.
