A retired fire captain in the Honolulu Fire Department and a retired professional baseball scout for the Boston Red Sox. He also was a veteran of the Korean War with the U.S. Army. He is survived by wife, Lillian M. Komatsubara; sons, Keith R. (Carole) Komatsubara, Kerry M. (Sharon) Komatsubara, Kell H. Komatsubara; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Tomiye Haertig, Janet Abe of Maryland; 1 nephew. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Saturday (July 31) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Casual Attire. No flowers, please. |
