Walter Isamu Komatsubara, 81, of Aiea, a retired Honolulu fire captain, professional baseball scout for the Boston Red Sox and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Aiea. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Lillian M.; sons Keith R., Kerry M. and Kell H.; sisters Tomiye Haertig and Janet Abe; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. July 31 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. Incorrect information published in an obituary yesterday.
