72John Joseph Lyons, 88, of Honolulu, a retired communication engineer and Navy lieutenant junior grade, died in Honolulu. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by wife Betty, son Joyn R., daughter Lorna and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Private burial. No flowers. Donations suggested to Sts. Peter and Paul Church or Holy Trinity Church.
