Violet Yit Kam Miyashiro, 77, of Honolulu, a retired Department of Education clerk, died in Kaiser Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Rikio, sons Garrick D. and Randy C., daughter Tammy Lee Murakami, sister Rose Tam and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m.
