GEORGE "BUCK" WOODSON ASHFORD, JR. George "Buck" Ashford, Jr., well known attorney, beloved father, and loyal friend to many in Hawaii's legal, sailing and tennis communities, died July 22, 2010 at Queens Hospital in his 75th year. As an extraordinary advocate, friend and mentor, Buck was larger than life. He changed many, many people's lives. He will be remembered for fighting tirelessly for truth and justice and was always willing to lend a hand to everyone who needed help.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, daughters Kathryn Nichols, Lisa Solberg, Robyn Lanman, Georgianne Faucette, and Maile McPherson, sons Michael McPherson, George W. Ashford III, Michael Ashford, brother Ned Ashford, sister Betsy Huckins, and 17 grandchildren. |
