79Luana Elizabeth Akana Hamakua, 72, of Hoolehua, Molokai, a retired state Department of Education cook, died at home. She was born in Hoolehua. She is survived by sons Sheldon K., Kimokea and Kamuela; daughters Marcella K. Spencer, Camellia L. Napoleon, Philette L. Ling, Poniala Yamamoto, Kawehilani Lactaoen, Iolani Kuoha and Ululani Makue; 42 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kalamaula, Molokai. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kanakaloloa Cemetery, Hoolehua. Aloha attire.
