Irving Francisco DeMello, also known as "Pancho" and "Pops," 86, of Honaunau, Hawaii, a retired tree trimmer, rancher, dairyman and a World War II veteran, died at home. He was born in Oakland, Calif. He is survived by wife Pamela Haydon; sons Daniel-Kaniela DeMello and Casey Haydon; and sisters Dalores Talley and Mabel Oswald.
