78Puna K. Liwai Jr., 81, of Mililani, a Hawaiian Telephone Co. retiree, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Wayne E. and Scott, daughters Roseann L. Patinio and Sarahann Lopes, brother William Mahaulu, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel.
