81Anthony "Bruddah Tony" Schaeffer, 71, of Kailua, a retired Merchant Marine captain and owner of Maunawili Ukulele Co., died. He was born on Long Island, N.Y. He is survived by wife Susie; son Stanley Nawatani; daughters Lynette Seshiki, Toni I. Wong and Jacquie and Suzanne Schaeffer; hanai sons Joe Makanani and Alton Yoshikawa; stepmother Charito; sister Miriam L.; and three hanai grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Kailua. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Private scattering of ashes. Casual attire. No flowers.
