84Anthony "Bruddah Tony" Schaeffer, 71, of Kailua, owner of Maunawili Ukulele Co. and a retired Merchant Marine captain, died. He was born on Long Island, N.Y. He is survived by wife Susie; son Stanley Nawatani; daughters Lynette Seshiki, Toni I. Wong, and Jacquie and Suzanne Schaeffer; hanai sons Joe Makanani and Alton Yoshikawa; stepmother Charito; sister Miriam L.; 12 grandchildren; three hanai grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Kailua. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Private scattering of ashes at a later date. Casual attire. No flowers.
