Jacob Frederick Silva, also known as "Jake" and "Uncle Freddy," 78, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co. heavy equipment operator, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Hiram, Jacob, Shane and Charleston; daughters Natasha Clarin, Melania "Fats" Silva, Jeanette Teel, Freda "Kimi" DeReis, Anastasia "Butterball" Higa, Natalya Spotkaeff and Roxanne S. Poomaihealani; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 10:15 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
