73Edwin Takashi Higashino, 88, of Honolulu, retired director of recreation for the City & County of Honolulu and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Betty, son Tommy, brother George T., sisters Ruth Honma and Amy Fujino and two grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
