Stanley Shizuto Kawate, 79, of Waipahu, a retired security systems engineer, died. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Dorothy K., daughters Karen K. Visscher and Kathy M. Nobriga, brother Charles Matsuo, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God, Red Hill. Casual attire.
